Pawsome was born from an unexpected journey of love, courage, and second chances.

I’m Darine, a chemist who spent years teaching and working in a forensic laboratory. Life took a sudden turn during Lebanon’s crisis, forcing me to leave my career behind. In that uncertain moment, everything changed when my daughter brought home two rescued puppies — one just two weeks old, and another only a day old, abandoned inside a closed bag.

I had always been afraid of dogs.

But they needed me.

What started as fear slowly turned into care… then into love that changed my life completely.

As I raised them, I realized how limited pet options were in Lebanon. Most stores only offered basic essentials, while so many innovative and helpful products were simply unavailable. That’s when I made a decision — to build something different.

I invested all my savings into creating Pawsome: an online store that brings a wider world of pet products to our community. Inspired by global trends, our mission is to offer everything your pet deserves — not just the basics, but comfort, care, and joy.

But Pawsome is more than a store.

Today, my daughter and I continue rescuing and caring for animals. Beyond our own dogs, we look after many others on the streets — feeding them, protecting them, and standing by them through every moment, even the hardest ones.

Because for us, this isn’t just business.

It’s a promise.
